BILLETS

MS Billets are purchased from Indian’s top Billet Manufacturers. It has uniformly distributed carbides, higher mechanical proprieties, superior resistance to cracking and distortion, uniform shrinkage and higher flow ability, VIKRAM TMT 550+ purchased MS Billets are produced via the continues casting process adhering to international standards

PROCESS

Billets are manufactured through continuous casting technology in which liquid steel flows from furnace to caster through a copper mould. The water in the mould gets cooled and oscillates at a predetermined rate. The oscillation, cooling and pausing is done in such a controlled condition that the liquid steel solidifies into equated crystals. Every batch of billet manufactured is thoroughly checked to analyse the desired properties. TMT Re-bars produced from continuous casting billets show high tensile strength and elongation and there is remarkable consistency of properties.
